Sojourners Care Network, located in McArthur, Ohio, serves youth in a variety of different capacities including foster care and street outreach services. Youthbuild is a unique program that helps participants between the ages of 16 and 24 earn their high school diploma or G.E.D. In addition to classroom schooling, students are also given a variety of on-site job trainings that includes construction, carpentry and logistics training. The Transitional Living Program (TLP) serves young adults ages 18-21. Through TLP, Sojourners is able to provide housing to young people who otherwise have nowhere else to go. Youthbuild and Transitional Living participants Jesse Lyon and Lucas Bruce, along with Sojourners staff and community members enjoy a game of touch football at Sojourners main building on Thursday, September 18.
